We are always proud of how well our children work together across the year groups. As a large school, Mortimer Primary encourages our older children to help younger children when they can.
Here are some photos of our volunteer Y6 children using 15 minutes of their day to work with reception children to help improve their knowledge of letters, sounds and words.
Have a look at Receptions visit to Washington Wetland Centre. They looked at the different species, went pond dipping, minibeast hunting and had a fabulous day. (more…)
We are going to start putting a copy of every letter sent home on the website. You will still ALWAYS receive a hard copy of every letter however if it is misplaced or you need to double check details letters will be available to view and download on the Letters Home page.
You can access this page by clicking this link or clicking the Parent’s tab at the top of the screen and clicking Letters home.
We hope this helps.
Here are some of our talented reception children. This term they have been cooking some fantastic Halloween chocolate treats.
